  • 2 packs Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large apples (2 Honeycrisp and 2 Granny Smith)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (dissolved in water)
  • 5 tbsp butter (partially melted) for streusel topping
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour for streusel topping
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for streusel topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon for streusel topping
  • 1/4 cup melted butter for icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for icing
  • 2 tbsp milk for icing
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla for icing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Grease muffin cups with softened butter.
  2. Press each cinnamon roll into the muffin cups to create space for the filling.
  3. Prepare the apple filling by peeling and dicing apples. Combine with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, melted butter, and cornstarch mixture. Microwave or cook on low heat until syrup thickens.
  4. Fill each cinnamon roll with the apple mixture using a slotted spoon.
  5. Make streusel topping by mixing the ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle over each roll.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling slightly before drizzling with icing.
