  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and half of the chopped basil.
  4. Cut pockets in each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
  5. Stuff each breast with the ricotta mixture and place in the baking dish.
  6. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed chicken and sprinkle mozzarella on top.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving; garnish with remaining basil.
