  • 16 ounces pipe rigate pasta (or shells)
  • 2 ½ cups whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 4 cups shredded cheese (2 cups white cheddar and 2 cups sharp cheddar)
  • 2 cups shredded beef brisket
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.
  2. In a separate pot, combine whole milk, heavy cream, and vegetable broth; bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Gradually stir in both types of shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  4. Add seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, turmeric, black pepper) and mix well.
  5. In another pot, heat shredded brisket with beef broth and barbecue sauce until warmed through.
  6. Combine the mac and cheese with the brisket mixture; serve immediately.
