  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/4 cup Brown sugar (packed light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup White granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and cinnamon until smooth for the filling.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt together.
  4. In a large bowl, cream melted butter with brown and white sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mix; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets; place about 1 teaspoon of peanut butter filling in the center and encase it with dough.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
