  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8 x 8 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring until well combined.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top and pour in the remaining brownie batter. Use a knife to gently swirl together.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean from the brownie portion. Let cool before slicing.
