2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup fresh basil leaves
3 cloves minced garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides and let sit at room temperature.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Add seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 6–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add halved cherry tomatoes and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in fresh basil leaves until wilted.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the tomato-basil mixture over it, drizzle with lemon juice, and cook for another minute before serving hot.
